History of vehicle registration begins after the British came to Malaya by the First World War. Grant number plate ABCD is determined based on the Federated Malay States eng brtish times .. the first state to the Federated Malay States who were followed by silver Selangor, Pahang and Kelantan ...
Based on such determination, it can be argued that both states have a car that was Selangor (Plate B) followed by NSW (plate C) and Kelantan (Plate D).
 
Determination of the plate after the vehicle is subsequently modified based on initial letters of a country.
